Chopper Pumps

Chopper pumps perform two functions, cutting and pumping in one step thus eliminating the need for grinders and comminutors. These pumps are available for applications that require reduction of solids size to prevent ragging of the pump and protecting downstream equipment. Chopper pumps are manufactured in several pump configurations including horizontal end-suction, vertical line shaft sump, vertical cantilever and submersibles.
